Hello all, I am a bit of a green horn at paddle boarding, and an even bigger one at building them. In the instructions that I got, it says that a board can either have the spoon nose, or not, and says to "Cut on the inner dotted lines." if a spoon nose is desired. None of the pieces on my blueprint have dotted lines where the concave should be cut.
1. How deep should the concave be? 2. how far down the board should the concave exist?
Thanks in advance for the help!!! ;D

Hey josht, The SUP does not have a spoon nose on the drawing you got. I don't think it would be useful to have one anyway. I did the 8' plan about a year ago, and that had the option, which you would be able to see on the plans in the form of a dotted line above the solid line on the plans. I too just got the plans for the SUP and I don't see those dotted lines on it....so you can just disregard that part of the manual. Keep us posted on your progress....and good luck!
