Ok another question. Would a tunnel fin be feasible for 11 SUP.

Why not? with a 10.5" fin box, no problemo! I've been wanting to try one out on a longboard, no SUP experience here. But with all that length, I'm not too sure that you would need any additional tracking assistance... Let me know how it works! Or I'll get my board done and let you know how it works on a 9'1" (which may take awhile )

I haven't tried this yet but I came across an idea for making a tunnel fin. The idea came when I cut off a 6 inch section of the deck overhang. This piece about 24 in wide and 6 long is very flexible. It bent into a tunnel shape very nicely. I would think it could be bent and glass into a permanent tunnel shape very easily. The glass shoul make it plenty strong and help it hold shape...

I have been having thoughts on tunnels also ....since it would be hard to foil, without a lot of work, I thought to take my foil shape and cut it out on a lot of 3/8" scrap and plane bevels on them and glue together. then you could sand the inside with a paint roll and block the outer surface and get it done quickly ...oh , figure the radius and cut a piece of pvc to match, use this as a form to clamp to ....plumbers will let you have pieces of the bigger stuff !! Also how do you size the fin to the board ...what's to small and what's to big.......
