Hi. I recently purchased Chad's book on chambered surfboards.
For some reason, I am more inclined to build a board this way vice the hollow board method.
My concern is with getting enough rocker. The book discusses using 2x4s, and I've found some really nice redwood 2x4s at the local Home Depot.
Will the 3.5" that come from a 2x4 be enough to give the board enough rocker, or am I sacrificing potential board performance?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Ray
