I will be using epoxy for the glassing.
I did have a question for all. I was going to put a sticker down before the glassing. Any problem with this. I know some guys use, rice paper and then the glass over the logo in the rice paper? But I think a vinyl sticker with my logo would be easy as it will stay in place.

I'm already planning a second board. I hope this one floats? I'm thinking of building the 10'6" sup but taking it down to 8'. It would be a custom build for my 100 lb daughter.

Looks great, the resin really brought out the wood colors. Fill and gloss coats with more rr 2000?
PS, nice logo

Top is done now to sand. Any thoughts about varnish. I was thinking about a spar satin varnish. Attachments:

The glass job looks great already but that spar varnish will richen it up a bit too. I usually have to sand the resin before applying the varnish to get a tooth for it to bond to. Let me know what you use and if you have to thin the varnish to get it to lay right. I still haven't perfected it, most boards are glossed by the glassers, but my personally boards get 3 coats of spray varnish just to make it easy. Plus I tend to beat the crap out of my boards so the finish isn't all that important to me. In any case, you are doing a heck of a job on it!

That's looking amazing! What did you use to cut the fin box hole?
