Hi there - I'm a newbie builder, based in Ireland. I'm in the latter stages (I hope )of my 9'2" Classic Longboard build. Just wondering if there's an ideal location for the vent? I saw a recommendation somewhere that it's better towards the nose where I won't forget to seal it and it's mostly out of the water? Seems a pity to put it there.... Also, if anyone can recommend one that's easy to install, same goes for the leash plug, worried that I should have something screw-in to ensure it stays put? Pic of the board so far below - I'm using 3" x 1/4" cedar strips. At the moment, I'm just paring down the rails before I attach the top. I added 2 3/4" strips each side of the spine to take a fin box although I think I'll try a glass-on fin first - the fin block is just in case I mess that up
