I like the 8' Cedar glide funshape but a 6'-6" or 7'-0" would fit better in my apartment.Is it possibleto leave out acouple of bulkheads without compromising performance.My apologies if the designer is insulted.

Wes, if what you mean is chop 6" off the nose and tail of the spine, you will be dramatically affecting the shape of that board. I personally would not recommend doing that. However, if you have a lot of patience and want to re cut and customize the rocker of the spine and then customize and reshape all the ribs so that you have a better flow to the rails, I suppose you could do that. I'd probably just start from scratch though and not buy the 8' cedar glide template. Or, if you must have a shorter board, buy the 5'11" retro fish template, make it bigger by extending the nose a bit and leave a rounded tail and not cut in a swallow.
