Wow! Really nice job. BTW, did you build the paddle too? What is the deal with woods for that? Did you use the same kinds of woods or something stronger like hickory or maple (for the handle)?

Thanks, the paddle shaft was made from cedar using the birds mouth method so ends up hollow in the middle but strong and very light, blade is cedar and paulowina.
