A kind neighbor saw my board construction in the garage and gave me a roll of fiberglass cloth from his work that was to be thrown away. the style is 7781. it is a 8 harness satin weave. Thickness is 0.0090 with a weight of 8.9 oz. Will this cloth work?

greetings akroland!
How long is your board? Using an 8.9 oz cloth may require a bit more resin to cover all of the cloth, but I don't see any problem using that weight.
Go for it!!!
and send some photos of your project!!!

Thanks for the reply. I'm building the 11' SUP. I'll go forward with the cloth.

I would discuss the cloth with your resin supply source. I'm no glassing expert but the use of compatible cloth/resin is key and they are not all the same. Not that many non-compatable types but a hard to fix error.
