haha....looks good man, there is always more than one way to do things. In the end, no one cares how you made it, only if it works...and it looks like its going to work perfectly.
I will add that those $20 bits are complete crap....usually dull and prone to breaking, but they will do the job if you take very shallow cuts.

Thanks, I think it willl work fine, and compared to some of the other mistakes I've made on this board... Make shallow cuts? yeah, I think that is what I found out. You can see what my idea of a shallow cut was from that photo back there...1/8" of full depth! when I showed the flaw to ericden he spotted that right off the bat. Those machines can be beasts!

Yea....I could see from the pic that is was pretty deep....I have broken a few that way myself. Live and learn, that's all you can do. Were you trying to do it free hand or were you using a template?

No freehand, big template...spent about an hour getting it right. Probably the only right thing that I did!
