More build photos. I think it's getting easier, rails that is. I tried the larger rails ad it went on easy without a break. Also realized if I let the glue dry for a couple 4-8 hours I can take off the clamps and work on the other side. Therefore, only two more rails to go! Attachments:

Excellent! You are right though, that first rail strip is the tricky one, after that it goes pretty good. And the dry time issue is another reason that I like the Gorilla Glue, you can unclamp in about an hour which makes the rails build up in a day if you glue one at a time. but in any case, it looks like you are making some good headway. Thanks for sharing!

Finally the last rail is in and it didn't even break.

I just got done doing some rail shaping and working on the top. Can't wait to put the top deck on. I ordered breathable leash plugs from greenlight as well as a fin box. Attachments:

Question for all. Is it necessary to glue tabs to the ribs? Attachments:

. I ve never used them with no apparent issue. I'd only used if you have a rib that came in a bit too low and you need to fill the gap

It is not absolutely necessary, BUT without them there is very little contact area for glue, so after heavy use you will notice a few ribs will break the glue seam and creak and flex slightly when you step on them. OR if you accidentally leave it in the heat with the plug in it it can blow up like a balloon and start popping these weak seams. Has anyone had similar experiences yet?
