Looks great Eric! Did you use the epoxy for the fill and gloss coats? How long between last gloss coat and the marine spar varnish? After talking to the guy at Surf Source I was thinking about not using the spar varnish...but maybe I do need more UV protection?

It was a few days between last epoxy and varnish. No apparent issues so far.

Ride report. Keeping in mind this is he smallest board I've ever ridden. Took her to the poles today. Waves were very weak. She paddles well and I was able to catch a few two footers. Turns very well and more stable than I thought she' d be. No apparent leaks or other troubles.

Well, it looks like we will be getting some more powerful little 2 footers with offshore winds Wednesday night and Thursday all day. 13 second wave periods make it break a little bit bigger around here, I don't know about your area though... It's summer so we can't complain!
