I thought I would post another way I am trying to add the nose and tail block. Its not rocket science but I think it will help me in the clamping process toward the end of the build. Before adding the top skin I went ahead and used some of the left over triangle strip pieces and glued them to the nose section. Then I laminated some Mahogany strips to pine and cut the basic shape. I set it with clamps apx where it will sit and drilled straight through to add some small dowell pins. I shaped the angle of the other piece on a stationary sander and put dowells in there also. After that I glued some nice straight grained cedar to the end. This will cover up the dowell holes. It is totally removable until I get the top skin on and final shaping but it will still line up in the same spot.

The tail block was done the same way but easier because I didn't have to worry about angles. I did however use an extra piece of pine and mahogany before the cedar to get the length I was wanting. Hope all the pics didnt bore you. ;D
