Hey All, Just a question about fin size.....what would be an ideal size (length) for the 8' long board. Just trying to figure out if an adjustable long board fin is necessary, or if I should go with a shorter fixed fin, though it seems they are sold in sets and not singles.

You could go anywhere from bout 5"-9" depending whether you like a tight or loose board. (5=slip 9=tight) I like a 8" fin on mine since i like a pretty tight board, but i have to work harder to turn it. Glassing a fin on is a bit of a commitment, if you dont like the way it rides then YOU have to adjust your riding, as opposed to a moveable fin which can be adjusted to your liking. Also, usually fins that are sold in pairs are "side bites" and are only foiled on one side, flat on the other. be sure that you are getting a center fin. I hope that helps!

Where is the best place to get the fin box. On another note: Is there any where that sells mounts that can be added during the construction process that will receive Fish Racks and Cooler racks?
Thanks for any information.
