Hi all. About to start on a SUP, in planning right now and hope to buy wood in a week. I ordered the plans from Chad this morning.
I didn't realise how tall 11" was. I am in Queensland Australia and I live in a metric world. So I am hoping... Well wondering ...is it possible to rescale to say 9" 6'. This is the size most used here where I live. (Queensland, Australia). Anything bigger than 10" is unusual.
We live on an open ocean bay, so at 11" it is going to be tough to use often. Also weight is an issue, I need to look at all options to reduce weight as well.
Thoughts ?

Hi. I'm interested to know how you went. I'm also in qld, south east corner. I wish to make a 9'6 sup, and I've asked for info as to how to do that. Waiting with baited breath, for a reply, as I want to purchase the appropriate plan and get cracking! I'm also interested to know what timbers are used here.
