The plans I received for a sup are for an 11ft. board, however, I think that I would like to add a foot to 18" to the board. How would I go about doing this and would it be more trouble than it's worth.

My first question would be, do you know of a 12-6 board/shape that you like? If so go measure it and match it?
If not, then I would proportionally increase the width, for this one it would be 1.5/11=14% increase in length so....
Multiply whatever the design width by 1.14.
Since this will be an SUP I have no idea of what it would do for your ride. Let us know which way you decide to go!

Just add a rib and stretch a relatively uniform section of the stringer. You can simply cut a section out a second paper template and tape into the right spot. Easy day
