Thank you so much for posting all of this. This will be a huge help to me when it comes time for me to start. Like you I will be taking a little bit of time to acquire everything. Some questions if you don't mind: how many clamps did you end up needing? Where did you get the layout or stencil for your fin? And what are the specifics for the hardware you used to set up your rocker jig. (I.e. the wing nuts or nuts and the threaded posts). Thanks again

Never mind. I reread the posts and you did advise what hardware you used.

txtommy I'm pretty sure the jig was 12' long and 40" wide. All 2x4 construction. It took about 4 hours to build. Make sure it is square. I sued a level when adjusting the boards for the rocker so I wouldn't build a twist in it. It took about 2 hours just to set the rocker after it was built. I ended up with about 40 bar clamps. The cheap ones from harbor freight worked great. Enjoy your build!!!

It was a sad moment I have turned my jig into some framing wood to finish my basement. On a cool note, my SUP board project is now a permanent part of the house. Now if I didn't have to work so much I could get more time on the board.
